OHAA School

Institutional building

OHAA is a school designed for children from 1st to 5th grade, embracing the alternative Waldorf method of learning. Our client, Mrs. Bharathi, envisioned a space where natural materials would facilitate sensory exploration for the children, allowing them to engage with textures and scents firsthand. To bring this vision to life, we've utilized exposed interlocking bricks for the walls and kota stone for the floors. Additionally, filler slabs have been incorporated into the roof design. Clay pots and Mangalore tiles have been strategically employed to regulate temperature within the space. Circular areas offer children opportunities to break away from convention and thrive in an environment that nurtures free thinking. The use of stone for both interiors and facade treatment further enhances the ambiance of the space.
